Welcome to our new Multimedia page!

Baja is very pleased to now be able to provide our shareholders and potential investors with up-to-date information about Baja and the Boleo Project by way of media presentations in audio and/or audio-visual formats. We will be updating our presentations on a very regular basis as we progress through construction at Boleo. You can choose to view the new presentations in a video format directly off our website by clicking on the “Video News Release” button on the home page or this Multimedia page or you can choose to subscribe to Baja’s podcasts and have these new presentations delivered directly to your ipod when updated presentations are available. Please note that the podcast and the video news release are the same video – they are just able to be viewed in different ways on different media players.

What is a podcast?

A podcast is a series of streaming audio or video files that is downloaded to the viewer's computer (and then to a portable media device such as an ipod). The two significant benefits of receiving a podcast are that the entire file is downloaded before watching, eliminating any of the stutters or hang-ups sometimes associated with streaming media, and podcasts can be subscribed to, which is the process in which any new content is delivered automatically to the viewer. Baja mining podcasts are provided free of charge to the viewer and podcast software is also free and easily available online.

How do I subscribe to a podcast?

First, you will need a computer (and if you prefer, a portable media device), a podcast-catching software such as Itunes (recommended) and a podcast feed (such as those being offered to you by Baja Mining Corp). In the case of Baja, you have a choice between an audio only podcast (for those that do not have video screens on their ipods) or, if you prefer, a video podcast which carries both video and audio. Click on one of the two orange icons under 'Subscribe to Podcast' (see below) to make your selection. You will then see that your computer's default podcast-catching software starts up and downloads the most recent file. You are now subscribed. New content will be delivered to your computer automatically as it is released by Baja Mining Corp. Once the file is downloaded, you can then watch it on your computer using your podcast-catching software or transfer it to your portable media player.

Baja Mining is pleased to be working with H2 Orange Media Inc. for all our multimedia projects. (www.h2orange.ca)
